12 Noon – 2 PM Central Standard Time

Please mark your calendars to attend the CSCMP of Atlanta’s final tour of 2008.  Come network with area professionals and view Honda Manufacturing of Alabama’s state-of-the-art automotive plant.

Honda Manufacturing of Alabama is Honda’s largest light truck production facility in the world – with an annual capacity of more than 300,000 vehicles and V-6 engines. Our $1.4 billion manufacturing facility in Lincoln is a state-of-the-art automotive plant utilizing the most innovative technologies shared by Honda facilities around the world.

HMA’s flexible manufacturing system allows our 4,500 associates the ability to build multiple vehicle models on the same assembly line. We are the sole production source of the popular Odyssey minivan, the Pilot sport utility vehicle and the V-6 engines that power both vehicles. In early 2009, HMA also will become the sole production source of the innovative Honda Ridgeline pickup truck.

Since the start of production in 2001, HMA was established as one of Honda’s most vertically integrated manufacturing facilities. Our on-site production operations include steel stamping, welding, painting, plastic injection molding, aluminum casting, aluminum and ferrous machining, engine assembly, vehicle assembly, testing and quality assurance.

HMA incorporates Honda's global vision of providing high quality products at a reasonable price. We also share Honda's global leadership in environmental stewardship. Our company-wide commitment to the principle of "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" has established HMA as a Zero Landfill Facility, which means we send nothing to a landfill.
